Entered order is the seeding. Up to 64.

Which format should you generate?

Single elimination is the quickest: one loss and you are out, and n teams play n − 1 games. Double elimination gives every team a second life and takes about twice as many games. A round robin plays every pair once and needs no knockout at all.

Swiss suits big fields with little time, because nobody is eliminated and each round pairs players with similar scores. Pool play splits a large field into small round robins and sends the best teams on to a bracket.

What the generator does for you

It places byes with the top seeds when the team count is not a power of two, so 12 teams give seeds 1 to 4 a free pass into round 2. It keeps the top seeds apart until the late rounds. It numbers the games so you can call them out and post a schedule.

Seeding follows the order you type. Put the best team first, or paste a random order if you want a blind draw. For double elimination it works out which losers-bracket slot each first-round loser drops into.

Print it, or run it live

Print this bracket gives a vector PDF on Letter, A4 or Tabloid, in colour or ink-saver, and the PDF carries the same drawing you see on screen. Run this live creates a shareable link and a QR code for the venue wall, where the organizer or players enter scores and the winner’s line moves on.

Nothing here needs an account. If you run an event often, use the size pages for ready-made brackets: they carry the game count, the rounds and a round-by-round explanation for each team count.

How many games will it be?

Single elimination: n − 1. Double elimination: 2n − 2, or 2n − 1 if the grand final is replayed. Round robin: n × (n − 1) ÷ 2. The facts line under the bracket shows the exact count for your teams, and the games calculator turns that into court time.
