Darts rules that shape the bracket
- The usual game is 501: start at 501 and count down to exactly zero, finishing on a double.
- A match is a set number of legs, commonly best of 3 or best of 5.
- League tables are ranked by match wins, then leg difference.
Games and time for common sizes
Time per game is set at 20 minutes and 4 boards. Change either one in the games calculator.

Which format to use
Under 8 players: round robin. 8 to 32 players: single elimination, with a seeded draw.
Best-of-3 legs take about 15 to 25 minutes. Use longer matches only for the final.
For a league, a double round robin gives everyone a home and an away match.
